Oh man, I've actually seen this one not too long ago via Rifftrax, which made it mildly tolerable. If anyone does try to see it, watch the Rifftrax version.

My father took me to the cinema to see Rathbone in "The Hound of the Baskervilles". Still lives with me (huge Holmes fan, had the Collected Works).

Loved it. Rathbone my favourite Holmes, with Jeremy Brett (BBC series) a close runner. Nigel Bruce the perfect Watson.

You should watch "Swamp Water" (1941), with Dana Andrew's and Walter Brennan. Great stuff. Directed by Jean Renoir in the Okefenokee Swamp.
