There’s “Oh-hi-oh” and there’s “Uh-hi-ah.” There’s no fixed border between the two but in general the closer you are to the Ohio River the more likely you are in the latter.
If you’re ever in doubt which state you’re in, just go in the closest feedstore or tavern and listen to the accents and the music. You’ll know right away where you are.
